VR Games?

This page is basically a placeholder to list games. There won't be much indicators of platform, style of game, etc. Just the list. This isn't detailed, it's just a dump. Play some!

Note that a few games have VR releases but aren't listed as VR mods.

If you are a contributor and wish to help, make another page with more detailed descriptions, some sort of genre sorting/more reviews/etc etc or even standalone pages for the bigger games. The core focus of this article is a primitive list of games.

  • Arken Age - Action/shoot adventure SP campaign
  • BallisticNG and Redout - Future racing game
  • Beatsaber - Lightsaber slashing at blocks to the beat, lots of custom songs available.
  • Blade And Sorcery - Woman stabbing simulator with SP campaign now
  • BoneWorks / BoneLab - SP physics climbshoot / moddable MP sandbox
  • Contractor Exfilzone - Extraction Shooter
  • Contractors Showdown - Battle Royale
  • Crossfire: Sierra Square - Arcadey military campaign shooter with co-op.
  • Dirt Rally 2 and EA WRC - Rally racing. DR2 is great, WRC is good but with high sys reqs.
  • Dungeons of Eternity - Co-op dungeon crawler with unlockable skills and lootable weapons.
  • Eleven Table Tennis - SP/MP Table tennis
  • Escape Simulator - Escape rooms in VR and Co-Op.
  • Forefront - Battlefront in VR
  • Gorn/Gorn 2 - Melee combat in a gladiator arena, goofy and fun singleplayer.
  • Half life Alyx - SP FPS
  • Hyper Dash - MP arena shooter
  • I Expect You To Die Trilogy - Puzzle games themed around spies.
  • Into the Radius 1 and 2 - SP VRFPS set in roadside picnic
  • Legendary Tales - Diablo 2 style korean shitfest
  • Metro Awakening - Metro game in VR
  • No More Rainbows + Stilt + Outta Hand - Move with hands platformers (gorilla-likes)
  • Of lies and Rain - Alyx with less budget and less bad decisions
  • Pavlov - MP counter-strike like shooter
  • Project Wingman - Not-Ace-Combat with campaign and roguelike mode.
  • Racket: Nx - Squash and Brick Breaker combined.
  • Roboquest VR - Roguelike shooter. Multiplayer support coming soon.
  • Rumble - Multiplayer 1v1 Earthbending. I
  • Serious Sam VR series - Not in mod list because it's a separate paid game than the originals. VRFPS boomer shooter.
  • Skydance's Behemoth - Climbing, fighting, boss fight climbing.
  • Sushi Ben - Stylish story game.
  • Tactical Assault VR - Room breaching and clearing with outdoor segments. Missions to play with friends.
  • The Lab - Polished fun minigames. Baby's first VR game.
  • The Last Clockwinder - SP Puzzle Game
  • The Midnight Walk - Unique art style adventure game
  • Vertigo + Vertigo 2 - VRFPS Campaign SP
  • VRChat - It's VRChat. Of interest: Game worlds, chatting, pretty things, and the user content experience.
  • VTOL VR - VR Flying using the motion controllers on stick and buttons. MP with coop.
  • Walkabout Mini Golf - Mini Golf. DLC not needed.
  • Walking Dead Saints and Sinners - Action/adventure zombie killing and looting
  • Wanderer - Puzzle Game

Probably worth your time:

  • Aim Assault - Rail shooter light gun game
  • All in One (Summer) Sports VR - Mobile tier sports games
  • Ancient Dungeon VR: Voxel/Minecraft looking roguelike dungeon crawler
  • Barbaria - Build bases to be challenged by players, challenge other player's bases. Mario maker but dungeons.
  • Bean Stalker - Climbing/Exploring/Shooting. Beanstalk!
  • Bocce Time! - Boules type game. Need friends.
  • Bootstrap Island - Shipwrecked 17th century survival
  • Compound - Boomer shooter roguelite
  • Contractors - MP Codlike with modding - Good but MP is dead
  • Cactus Cowboy Series - Smooth VRFPS with budget graphics
  • Dance Dash - DanceRush Stardom in VR. Rhythm game focused on feet movement.
  • Dead Effect 2 VR - Early VR shooterRPG
  • Derail Valley - Euro truck sim but trains
  • Eye of The Temple - "In playspace movement" adventure game. Big playspace needed.
  • EXD - Extra Dimensional - Combat, magic, puzzles action game.
  • Ghost Town - Ghost related puzzle game. Pretty.
  • Grimlord - Hard first person fighting. Gameplay style is dark souls with less rolling.
  • Guardians Frontline - Shooter with RTS parts. MP
  • IRON REBELLION - Fast Paced Mech fighting game MP mostly
  • Moss / Moss: book ii - VR 3rd person platformer.
  • Myst/Riven/Firmament - Point and Clicks remastered in VR. Look pretty.
  • No Man's Sky - Native VR port on PC. Wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle.
  • On Point - Point Blanc in VR. Wario ware style microgames for light guns.
  • Phasmophobia - (need friends) Friendslop ghost finding spook-em-up
  • Primitier - Crafting Autism
  • Rush - Wingsuit gliding down courses, go for score or speed.
  • Skyrim VR - Skyrim but VR.
  • Space Control - Job Simulator with reddit humor and the demo is like half the game
  • Strayed - Rust in VR
  • Subnautica VR - Deep ocean crafty scary
  • Super Hot - Bullet-time stoppy movey game.
  • Tammuz: Blood & Sand - Reasonable VR puzzle game
  • The Light Brigade - WW1 guns + magic + FPS roguelike.
  • The Talos Principle VR - Puzzle game. Careful to get the VR version not the flat one.
  • Thief VR : The VR thief game.
  • Trombone Champ: Trombone playing in vr
  • VMX - VR BMX and other tricking vehicles. Lots of moves involving head whipping.
  • Vox Machinae: BIG SLOW STOMPY MECH GAME - SP campaign and MP
  • Zero Caliber (and 2) - CoD Single player in VR

If you have free time and want to use your headset:

  • A Fisherman's Tale 1/2 - Short puzzle games
  • Arizona Sunshine (and 2) - Early VR shooter. Coop supported.
  • ARK and ADE - Intense arcade shooter
  • Black Forge: A Smithing Adventure - Hit blocks make items.
  • Cooking Simulator VR - Cooking simulator but in VR.
  • Crossings - Norse themed roguelike fighting. Janky.
  • Falcon Age - Falconer action adventure with a pet bird
  • Ghost Town - Adventure/puzzle game.
  • Hard Bullet - VR Arena shooter with slow motion. Gets boring quick.
  • Hyperbolica - VR experience
  • Maestro - Orchestra conducting rhythm game
  • Maskmaker - Short puzzle game
  • Not For Broadcast VR - Game about censoring broadcasts as they air
  • Resonite - VR Social Sandbox with greater customisation and scripting capability. Good game worlds. Furry infested.
  • Star Shelter - Space Crafty Survial
  • Survival Nation - Zombie survival game with barebones quests to guide you along. Timewaster.
  • Tabletop Simulator - VR mode is terrible.
  • The 7th Guest VR - Puzzle game
  • The Break-In - Goofy physics stealth game. Friendslop.
  • The Burst - Campaign shooter with grabitty gloves and some level of stealth.
  • The Room VR - Short puzzle game
  • The Under Presents - Puzzle game with pre-recorded cutscenes
  • Umami Grove - Chef/Cooking game
  • Underworld Overseer - Dungeon Keeper VR.
  • VAIL - MP CS clone - Good but no players
  • VEX MAGE - Fast paced action shooter

  • Outer Wilds VR - Great adventure game. Top of the list for a reason. (NomaiVR)
  • Big Walk VR - Big Walk in VR! https://github.com/CircuitLord/BigWalkVRInstaller High on the list for a reason.
  • Half Life 2 VR - HL2 - VR is the best way to play HL2,it's better than alyx. Really.
  • Portal 2 VR - Portal 2 - Excellent in VR
  • Half life 1 VR - Half life 1 - Okay in vr
  • Valheim VR - Viking crafty game (I think mod broke now :() - 'fun with friends'
  • Crysis VR mod - Crysis VR - Awesome fun in VR
  • Jedi Outcast Jedi Knight II VR - If you know what this game is then you will want this
  • GTFO VR - (need friends) 4P survival mission sci-fi shooter - decent
  • Metroid Prime VR - Awesome game, good mod. https://github.com/Nobbie248/PrimedGun (Will also need a USA 1.0 Gamecube ISO)
  • Perfect Dark VR mod - https://github.com/Alex-LeTux/perfect_dark_VR/releases Perfect Dark
  • Vivecraft - Minecraft VR - check other mods for compatibility especially if extra buttons are needed.
  • Q3AVR - Quake 3 Arena with MP. https://ripper37.github.io/q3vr/ - Runs great
  • Doom 3 VR - Doom 3 in VR is actually kinda awesome. Crashed on me a fair amount though.
  • Halo CE VR - https://github.com/LivingFray/HaloCEVR Halo VR!?!?? I played it - Comes with an installer for everything you need. Runs well, plays well except cutscenes.

Probably worth your time:

Not quite worth it for most

  • Ready or not VR - Mod needs work still, this is one to keep your eyes on.
  • System Shock 2 REmake VR - Again another mod to keep your eyes on, not sure how well it works

Up and Coming

* FEAR VR - Another slopmod: https://github.com/DR-89/fear-vr Underbaked. Performs like hot anuses, looks awful, is a PAIN to install but it does technically work.

UEVR sloppa

UEVR is basically a 'put the game's camera in VR' platform rather than the full experience. Works okay for some games but you'll be playing basically just with a controller. Only really do these if you really like the base game and just want to see it on a VR headset rather than a monitor. Some have motion controls.

For some games where there are no controls other than point and click it might be fine(scorn?)

Mostly Quest - There's Pico conversions for most. When frame exists expect it to run quest APKs.

Running on PC? https://github.com/alferiko/rvr-emulator-release Maybe. This is alpha but could work for some.

  • Asgards wrath 1 and 2 - Mythical Melee fightan adventure
  • Resident Evil 4 VR - RE4. In VR.

Probably worth your time:

  • RealVRFishing - Best fishing controls marred by AI generated updates. Base game still plays well.
