We recently experienced data loss when our server was unexpectedly shut down. Please be patient, things will be messy for a bit.

VRWiki:Rules

From VRWiki
This content is a stub. You can help VRWiki by expanding it.

We have a relatively minimal set of rules. I'm all for fun, but I also don't want the feds to seize the damn server, or for the host datacenter to turn it off.

Rules

  1. Don't be a dick.

Hard Rules

As much as I would love to keep it that simple, laws and stupid people require the following:

  1. Please do not post anything that may be considered by a reasonable person to be illegal content as interpreted by the laws of the United States of America, and the laws of the State of Washington. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Content depicting minors nude, partially nude, or engaging in sexual behavior. (CSAM)
    • Content regarding illegal contraband (drugs, animal smuggling, etc).
    • Scams, get-rich-quick schemes, crypto-investment schemes, pyramid schemes, etc.
      • No, legal variations on this theme, such as game currencies, do not count, sadly.
    • Showing off your cool gun that the ATF finds wanting for whatever reason
  2. Do not post anything broadly considered to be offensive, including but not limited to gore, bodily fluids/solids, snuff, etc.
    1. Sexual content is welcome if it is germane to the purpose of this wiki, e.g. how to color-match sexual organs to a nude avatar.
  3. Information about cheats, hacks, warez, pirated shit, etc. is forbidden for legal reasons. Again, we all understand sailing the merry seas under a black sail, but we also like not getting sued.
  4. Do not share Personally Identifiable Information, such as an individual's address, date of birth, phone number, SSN, etc.
  5. We are Not Your Personal Army. Organizing electronic attacks, raids, or harassment campaigns is forbidden.
  6. Leave your politics at the door.
  7. This is a wiki for sharing knowledge about VR. Try to keep things that way.
  8. If you become such a problem that I need to ban you for reasons not listed here, I fully reserve the right to do so.

These rules are subject to change. A sitenotice will issue by the site Head Sysop when they do substantially change. Rewordings, formatting, cleanups, and other minor changes will not trigger a sitenotice.
